WSU Raiders hosting Air Force at the Nutter Center in November

By
Wright State University, Press Release

Wright State men's basketball head coach Clint Sargent has announced the Raiders will host Air Force inside the Nutter Center during the 2024-25 season, welcoming the Mountain West foe to Dayton on Nov. 30.

This will be the third meeting all-time between the two schools, who met in back-to-back Decembers in a home-and-home series late in the 2010 and 2011 calendar years. The Raiders won the first meeting on Dec. 8, 2010 inside the Nutter Center, while Air Force won the follow-up contest Dec. 7, 2011 in Colorado.

"We feel like this game is a great opportunity for both our program and the greater Dayton community as a whole," Sargent said. "The ties between Wright State, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Air Force Academy are very deserving of a special night of recognition. Our fans will be excited about bringing in a challenging opponent from the Mountain West Conference which always has high NCAA tournament hopes."

Wright State previously announced it would open the 2024-25 season at Kentucky on Monday, Nov. 4.
