Week 5 Preview
Hillsboro (0-1, 0-4) at Miami Trace (1-0, 1-3)
The Hillsboro Indians hit the road as they are still looking to gain their first win of the season this Friday. HHS will be visiting the Miami Trace Panthers, who are coming off a win, their first one of the season, against London.
HHS (0-1, 0-4) has been outscored 172-39 this season through four weeks with losses to Western Brown (4-0), Goshen (4-0), Wilmington (3-1) and Madison-Plains (4-0) all of whom have a combined overall record of 15-1 this season.
As for Miami Trace (1-0, 1-3) they will look to keep their momentum from their 32-20 win over the Red Raiders going as they have totaled 110 points this season, but they have allowed 130 points in those same four games.
In their game last week at LHS, the Panthers totaled 320 yards rushing on 60 carries for three touchdowns, while quarterback Jimmy Stroker passed for 132 yards (7-of-13) and two touchdowns. MT totaled 73 plays for an overall offensive total of 452 yards and five touchdowns, as they totaled 21 first downs.

The McClain Tigers faced a buzz saw in Clinton-Massie last week, as the Tigers will hit the road for the second time this season and face the East Clinton Astros.
Last week, EC lost to the Washington Blue Lions 46-43 as they fell to 0-1 in the SCOL and 1-3 overall. MHS enters the game at 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the league as MHS has lost their past two games to Zane Trace and CM.
The player to watch out for for EC is senior running back Max Morrow, who through four games has totaled 764 yards and 12 TDs. Morrow is coming off an injury last season where he suffered a broken leg during a game.
In their game last week, EC rushed for 316 yards.
As for the Tigers, they are coming off two consecutive tough games, one where they lost by less than a TD to Zane Trace and last week where they had to face one of the best teams in the state of Ohio.
One plus this week for MHS was they were ranked No. 11 in the Division III, Region 12 computer rankings.
This season, MHS had scored 67 points and allowed 113, while EC has scored 119 and allowed 129.
