The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced their athletes of the week Monday afternoon and for the third time this season and the sixth time in his career, Wilmington College graduate student Noah Tobin was named the OAC Men’s Cross-Country Runner of the Week.

Tobin competed Friday night under the lights at the Division III Pre-Nationals meets, hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind. This meet was raced on the course that is hosting the 2024 Cross Country Championships in November.

Tobin (St. Mary's, Ohio/Memorial HS) had the best finish of his career at this event, finishing with a time of 24:47.7 for 11th place overall. This was the seventh time in his career that Tobin broke the 25-minute barrier in a race.

Tobin has a trio of Top-3 races this season, including a pair of victories at the Wild Witt Exhibition Race (Wittenberg University) and the Franklin College Grizzly XC Invitational.
