Two-a-days are here

     The Hillsboro Indians, the McClain Tigers and every high school football program in the state of Ohio began two-a-day football practices Monday.
     Pictured (top) are Hillsboro players taking part in a turnover drill. The second picture is Hillsboro defensive lineman and linebackers waiting for the snap in a drill at the Hillsboro practice football field, next to Richards Memorial Field.
     Hillsboro will scrimmage Adena (Saturday, Aug. 14) and Paint Valley (Thursday, Aug. 19). The Tigers will take on East Clinton, Wilmington and Logan Elm.
     Week one of the regular season will be Friday, Aug. 27 with Hillsboro taking on Western Brown and McClain facing Adena. Both the Indians and Tigers will open up the regular season on the road.
