CLARKSVILLE — In what was a back-and-forth contest, the McClain Tigers earned their third straight South Central Ohio League victory, defeating the Clinton Massie Falcons, 14-13 Wednesday at CMHS.

With the game tied at 13 going into the final inning, MHS senior Ryan Perie scored on a passed ball from third base for the go-ahead run.

The crucial inning for the Tigers proved to be the fifth. Trailing 8-4, MHS sent 15 batters to the plate that inning, scoring nine runs.

The Tigers were led at the plate by Perie and Ryan Case. Perie went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Case was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

McClain (3-2, 4-9) hosts Blanchester Thursday in a non-league contest starting at 4:30 p.m.
