The McClain Tigers had three big double-digit scoring quarters Tuesday night, and once everything was said and done, they left Clinton County with their second South Central Ohio League win of the season.

MHS obtained that feat by defeating the Clinton-Massie Falcons by a 50-41 score at CMHS, where the Tigers overcame a rough first frame to gain the win.

In that first frame, the Tigers (2-5, 5-9) were doubled up by the hosts at 12-6, but MHS rallied for quarter scores of 17, 15 and 12 to take home the win. On defense, the Tigers held CM nine points in the second, followed by a 13-point third and seven-point fourth to seal the victory.

At halftime, the Tigers led, 23-21 over CM, who are now 5-8 overall and 1-6 in the SCOL.

Randall Mischal led the Tigers with 15 points, while Ryan Faulconer chipped in with 11.

Bryce Duff followed with six points. The trio of Lincoln O'Connor, Josh Todd and Shane Hall each scored five points. Also for MHS, Reid Garrison scored three points.
