EBER — The McClain Tigers picked up their fourth straight South Central Ohio League victory with an 8-2 win Friday night at Miami Trace.

Behind solid pitching from Ryan Case, the Tigers improve to 5-10 overall and 4-2 in the SCOL, as they are tied for second place in the league with the Hillsboro Indians after the first half of league games have been played.

Case went the distance for the Tigers, facing 28 batters and striking out 14. The senior walked four and allowed only two hits.

"Ryan was in control tonight and was able to work out of a jam in the sixth inning," MHS head coach Brandon Streitenberger said. "That was key for us, they (MT) were threatening and he was able to shut the door.

"We also took advantage of some errors and came up with some key hits with runners in scoring position."
