Tigers gain SCOL win at EC

The McClain Tigers trailed after the first eight minutes, but that didn't matter as they continued to battle, and by the time the final buzzer sounded they had earned a South Central Ohio League victory Friday night.
 
The Tigers defeated the East Clinton Astros at EC to gain the league win by a 63-51 score.
 
McClain's road win saw them trail 11-9 after the first quarter, but MHS managed to outscore the Astros 16-14 in the second for a 25-25 tied score at halftime.
 

[[In-content Ad]]MHS then broke out for some big-time scoring with a 15-11 third frame and 23-15 fourth quarter to outscore the home team, 38-26 in the second half.
 
Randall Mischal led the Tigers with 26 points, including two 3-pointers and 10 two-point baskets. Wyatt Jones was next in scoring with nine points.
 
Reid Garrison followed with seven points, while Lincoln O'Connor and Travis Hall each scored six points.
 
Also netting points for the Tigers were Bryce Duff (3), Jacob Starkey (4) and Josh Todd (2).
