The McClain Tigers dropped their third consecutive game of the 2013 season Friday night, falling to the Dicision III state-ranked Chillicothe Cavaliers, 61-0 at Herrnstein Field in Chillicothe.

The road loss for the Tigers also marks their third consecutive loss in the South Central Ohio League, as they are now .500 at 3-3 overall and 0-3 in the SCOL. MHS has previous losses in the SCOL to Clinton-Massie and East Clinton this season.

This season, the Cavaliers have outscored their opponents, 205-41 as they move to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the SCOL. CHS will travel to Clinton-Massie (3-0, 5-1) next Friday in a battle for first-place in the league as both teams are undefeated in the league standings.

For MHS, they return home next week as they host their homecoming game, when they take on a rival in the Washington Blue Lions.

The Blue Lions lost this Friday (in week six) to non-league opponent Bishop Ready, 98-20.

Last season, the Tigers defeated the Blue Lions, 21-15 in WCH.[[In-content Ad]]
