The McClain Tigers added another South Central Ohio League win to their side of the standings Monday night, defeating the Clinton-Massie Falcons, 3-1.

McClain (3-2, 5-6) did their damage in the fourth inning at Mitchell Park when Dylan Trefz knocked in Trevor Gossett from second base, providing the eventual game-winning run.

The loss drops CM to 9-3 overall and 3-2 in the SCOL.

Trefz led MHS hitters at the plate, going 2-for-2 with one RBI. Caleb Rayburn also had two hits for the Tigers.

Kyle Flora picked up the win for the Tigers. Flora went the distance, striking out five while allowing only one walk. The senior hurler faced 29 batters and gave no earned runs in the winning effort.

"Kyle was sharp tonight, and our defense backed him up," MHS head coach Brandon Streitenberger said.

McClain (5-6; 3-2) travels to Washington C.H. Tuesday for a SCOL makeup game from last Friday against the Blue Lions.
