GREENFIELD — A few years ago, the McClain wrestling program was hanging on by a thread … fast forward to the 2012 season, and the Tigers have a new mat, hosting a tri-home match and defeating two schools in a convincing matter.

Yes, the Tigers are back on the wrestling mat with home matches, and their program is up-and-coming with bright spots currently as they defeated the East Clinton Astros 66-18 and Adena 72-6 for the home sweep. The win vs. East Clinton does not count toward league standings.
