Tiger JV wrestlers fall to varsity Shermans

On Monday, Jan. 23, the McClain JV wrestling squad accepted the challenge of facing the varsity squad from Unioto. The Shermans took the last 30 points by forfeit to come out on top, 42-36, for the victory.

Individually, winning their matches for MHS were: Joe Unger (160), Caleb Savage (170), Roscoe East (182), Jake Branham (195), Bobby Coil (220) and Dylan Trefz (285).

Also winning an exhibition match for the Tigers was Unger.  

The JV team is 0-1 on the season. 
[[In-content Ad]]Up next for the JV team will be a super quad on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Waynesville. The JV team will compete against Waynesville, Springboro and Summit Country Day.  

The varsity team will be competing against Springboro and SCD. The junior high team will be competing against Waynesville and SCD.
