Otterbein University sophomore Peyton Proffitt has been selected as the newest OAC Field Athlete of the Week on the women's track and field scene, following a nice performance at Mount Union.

Proffitt (Orient, Ohio/Westfall), a returning All-American, cleared 12-6.75 (3.83 meters) to win by more than a foot and a half at the Raider Tune-Up over the weekend in Alliance. The height now ranks her seventh nationally at the moment and almost certainly punches another ticket to the NCAA Championships.

Proffitt and her teammates will now head to Muskingum this coming Friday/Saturday for the Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, as she looks to defend her league title in the event.
