"This win was a team effort," SSCC head coach Blake Kibler said. "We had some players who were having a rough time on the court trying to get it going, and we had guys come off the bench and contributed.
"Alec had another solid game, and Ryan Bates came off the bench and helped us out right away. We know we didn't play our best game offensively or defensively, but we did the things to win the ball game."
SSCC will play again on Dec. 3 in Batavia at 7:30 p.m.
"We have a big game coming up against UC-Clermont," Kibler said. "They will be athletic and ready to go. We have to be mentally prepared to go and get the job done."
With the win, SSCC improves to 3-2 on the season.
