Paints' Fisher named Prospect League 'Player of the Week'

Chillicothe Paints third baseman Matt Fisher has been named the Prospect League "Player of the Week" for the week of May 31 - June 3.

Fisher hit .500 (9-for-18) with a double two home runs, seven RBIs and five walks.

The West Virginia Miners’ Sam Lewis, was named “Pitcher of the Week” after firing an Opening Day no-hitter vs. Slippery Rock.

Each Monday throughout the season, the Prospect League, in association with Point Streak, will announce a Pitcher and Player of the Week.[[In-content Ad]]
