Paint Valley seniors Peyton Bell and Dom Chambers recently held a joint signing, with both student-athletes committing to play collegiate football at Wittenberg University.

Bell, an offensive lineman, was named to the second-team All-Ohio list for offense his senior year, while also being named Southeast District Lineman of the Year, both by members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. The Scioto Valley Conference selected him as SVC Lineman of the Year.

Chambers, who was sidelined his senior season due to an ACL injury, was an All-District selection his junior year (Special Mention). As a junior, he scored 12 touchdowns and averaged 8.5 yards per carry. On defense, he totaled 405-plus sacks, four tackles for loss, three sacks and had an interception.

Both Bell and Chambers also have been awarded academic scholarships for their four years at Wittenberg.

The Wittenberg University Tigers compete in NCAA Division III as a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference.
