The ring is in honor of Overstake achieving 500 varsity girls basketball wins as a head coach.

Overstake ranks 15th in the state on the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association's all-time varsity win list. He compiled a record of 501-201, a .714 win record, as head coach at McClain High School.
