OSU’s Axon qualifies for Team Canada at 2024 Paris Olympics

Ohio State sophomore swimmer Alex Axon has qualified for a spot on Team Canada for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Axon previously won the 200 free at the Canadian Trials with a personal-best time of 1:47.56, which earned him a spot on Canada's 800 free relay team for the Olympics.
Axon also won gold in the 400 free with a time of 3:50.10.
This will be Axon's first career appearance at the Olympics. He is from Markham, Ontario.
