OHSAA Football Rankings: Tigers jump to No. 6 in Region 12 rankings

The McClain Tigers moved up three spots to No. 6 in the latest OHSAA Football Computer rankings in Region 12 released on Tuesday, Oct. 23 by the OHSAA.
The Tigers are 6-3 overall with their most recent win coming this past Friday by a 56-22 score over the four-win Madison-Plains Golden Eagles at McClain field on Senior Night.
McClain is 4-2 in the South Central Ohio League.
MHS will travel to Richards Memorial Field on Friday as they face the 0-9 Hillsboro Indians in the Rotary Bowl, their regular season finale. It is a must-win game for the Tigers for their playoff chances to stay alive. Their playoff chances also hinge on the results of other games on Friday night.
Also from the SCOL, the Clinton-Massie Falcons are No. 1 in Region 16 and in the Associated Press poll the Falcons are No. 4 in the state in Division IV as they are 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the SCOL, as they've already clinched no less than a share of the league title. CM will face the East Clinton Astros this Friday.
The OHSAA will release final computer ratings and regional quarterfinal pairings Sunday afternoon, Oct. 28.
