Ohio Hunter Education Course scheduled
There will be an Ohio Hunter Education Course sponsored by the Ohio Division of Wildlife on Nov. 9, 10 and 12 from 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be no class on Thursday, Nov. 11.
Participation in all 4 days of classes is required. The course in being held at the United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall in Sinking Spring. There is no charge for the course, but pre-registration is required by calling 937-588-0015.
There is no minimum age, however students under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Do not bring firearms or ammunition to the course.
All first-time hunting license buyers are required by Ohio Law to successfully have completed a hunter education course. Upon successful completion of the 10-hour course and written test, students will receive the Ohio Hunter Education Certification.
