EBER — On Saturday, LC traveled to Miami Trace and lost 66-59.
In the second half, the Mustangs were able to cut the lead to two and three points many times but were unable to make a run big enough to overcome the lead of the South Central Ohio League-leading Panthers.
"They are an extremely athletic and well-coached team," McLaughlin said of the Panthers. "They hit their outside shots when they needed them."
Dylan Noll led LC with a double-double, scoring 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Dallas Puckett scored 16 points (four 3-pointers) and tallied five offensive rebounds.
Tyler Davidson dished out seven assists.
LC trailed by 11 points at the half but rallied to trail by just five points (45-40) headed into the fourth quarter.
LC is scheduled to face West Union on Tuesday and Ripley on Friday in the LC homecoming game.[[In-content Ad]]
