Mustangs score a dozen goals for win over WU

Goals were scored throughout Friday's match against the West Union Dragons as the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs scored six goals in each half for a 12-0 win in Southern Hills League play.
The win moves LC to 5-3-1 overall and 3-2 in the league.
LC was led with a hat-trick by Brandon Storer.
"This was a league win that gave us a chance to play everyone quite a few minutes," LC coach Dennis West said.

At goal for LC, Evan Bedard totaled four saves in the 80-minute match.
Scoring first-half goals for LC were: Gage Waits (28:53), Noah Scott (24:42), Storer (14:30) off a pass from Tennyson Cluff, Storer (10:40), Cluff (2:59) and Chaz Lanier (.25) off a long pass from Waits.
In the second half, goals were from: Mason Jordan (36:55), Storer (30:59) off a pass from Scott, Jordan (29:40) off a cross from Josh Bauer, Alex Pinkerton (27:40) on a free kick from 25 yards out, Devin Pierson (24:50) off a pass from Pinkerton and Tristan Wilbanks (20:50).
