Mootispaw signs with Asbury University

GREENFIELD — McClain senior Caleb Mootispaw signed to run cross-country at Asbury University this fall in Wilmore, Ky.
Mootispaw runs cross-country and is a member of the McClain track & field team.
"I had it narrowed down between two colleges, both had competitive tuition, but Asbury had my major and my sports, so it was the place I felt comfortable at," Mootispaw said. "I've been on the campus before, and it felt like a great place with a good atmosphere."

Mootispaw will major in Worship Arts.
Asbury University cross-country head coach Randy Crist spoke about Mootispaw as well.
"Talent-wise, he can be one of our top five runners," Crist said. "He's a quality runner, but also with his spiritual maturity, he's a great fit for Asbury."
