Matthew Mangus finishes 3rd at USATF

Matthew Mangus, age 10, Hillsboro, finished 3rd at the USATF Region 5 Championship held on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Coonskin Park in Charleston, WV. 

Region 5 consists of Ohio, Michigan, WV and Kentucky athletes.  His finish qualified him for the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships to be held at Veteran's Park on December 11th in Hoover, Alabama. 

Mangus was representing the Miami Valley Track Club of Yellow Springs coached by Vince Peters.
