Madysyn Creighton signs with Defiance College

The softball playing career of Lynchburg-Clay senior will continue following high school, as the shortstop for the Lady Mustangs has signed to play collegiate softball for Defiance College.
Creighton, a four-year starter for LC, not only used her athletic skills to become a member of the Division III school, but she also used her skills in the classroom as she has a 3.9 GPA, receiving the Defiance College Trustee Scholarship and the Defiance College Service and Learning Scholarship.
"It was one of my dreams to play college ball, and I’m happy that with the help of my family and my coaches, I was able to have the opportunity to play college softball," Creighton said on her signing day at LCHS. "Defiance is a small college, and coming from a small town, I knew I wanted to go to a small college.
