Leading the Lions in scoring was senior Quentin Williams with 23 points (18 in the first half). Williams also added nine assists and six rebounds.

"Quentin had a stellar game," Snyder said. "He did a lot for us, including 18 points in the first half. In the second half, he was being double-teamed, so he found the open man for the assists."

He was followed in scoring by Ryan Bates with 16, as he also totaled six rebounds.

Gage Montgomery totaled nine points and six rebounds. Also scoring for FHS were Blake Hildebrant with eight, Elijah Carmean with eight and Brad Clay with six.

"We had all-around balanced scoring, so that's good to see this early," Snyder said.

The Lions totaled six 3-pointers in the game with Williams, Hildebrant and Carmean each making two. FHS totaled 13 turnovers.

Leading Southeastern Richmond-Dale was Austin Hice with 14 points as they had four players in double figures including Kellogg with 13, Allen with 11 and Carter with 10.

The Lions (1-0) will play again on Saturday, Dec. 1 at East Clinton in their second non-league contest.
