Leibreich, Rhoads win for HHS tennis

Reese Leibreich and Alex Rhoads led the Hillsboro boys tennis teams to their singles wins on April 26, but as a team, the Indians dropped the South Central Ohio League match with the London Red Raiders, 3-2 at HHS.

Leibreich won his first singles match against Eli Gladman 6-2, 6-0, and in second singles, Rhoads defeated Jack Spahn in second singles by scores of 6-6, 7-4, 6-4.


[[In-content Ad]]In third singles, Patrick Shanahan lost in two sets to London's Kyle Weese 2-6, 1-6.

The doubles matches saw Christian Gunderman and Ryan Palmer (HHS) fall to Tyler Cox and Will Albrecht 0-6, 2-6 in first doubles.

In second doubles, Zach Basford and Brendan Eltzroth (HHS) lost in straight sets by scores of 0-6, 0-6 to London's Colin Doch and Drew Sollars.
