Lady Tigers, Lady Red Raiders postponed

      GREENFIELD - Rain and lightning ruled over McClain Field in Greenfield Tuesday evening as the girls soccer match between the Lady Tigers and the London Lady Red Raiders was postponed with 17:32 left in the first half.
      McClain held a 1-0 lead with a goal by captain Kaitlyn Faulconer with the assist from captain Chrissy Cobb at the 21:22 mark of the opening half.
      In what was played in the first half, the Lady Red Raiders held the ball in the Lady Tigers' territory for a majority of their time on the field.
      Taylor Faulconer made a save for MHS with 37:57 left in the first half.
      At the 17:20 mark, officials called everyone off the field due to lightning.
      The game will be played at a to-be-announced date.
      MHS boys and girls soccer is scheduled to host the Washington Lady Blue Lions on Thursday.
      The boys MHS-LHS soccer game was postponed to a later date as it was never started.
