After losing by two points on Wednesday, the McClain Lady Tigers were able to bounce back to the win column on Thursday by defeating non-league foe Unioto on the road.

Looking at the scoring, it was UHS (3-2) who led after the first quarter, taking a 12-11 advantage. The second-quarter scoring was exactly the same, as by the time halftime rolled around, it was the Lady Shermans leading 24-22.

"I'm so proud of our girls," McClain head coach Jarrod Haines said. "After back-to-back tough nights, they showed so much heart pulling this road win out. MHS finished with 11 turnovers, while UHS had 17.

MHS will play again in South Central Ohio League play on Saturday night at Washington Senior High School against the Lady Blue Lions.
