ATHENS — The McClain Lady Tigers had their season ended on Monday night, at Athens High School, in a 5-1 loss to Warren in a Division II SE District Sectional semifinal girls soccer match.
McClain, a No. 12 seed, ends the season with three wins. Warren is a No. 5 seed in the tournament.
In other Division II SE District Sectional semifinal matches on Monday, No. 8 Marietta defeated No. 9 Jackson 4-0; No. 4 Washington defeated Fairfield-Union 7-0, Circleville (a No. 7 seed) defeated No. 10 Athens 3-0 and Logan Elm (a No. 6 seed) defeated No. 11 Miami Trace 4-0.
Sectional final matches will take place on Thursday, Oct. 20. They include:
No. 1 Chillicothe vs. No. 8 Marietta (5 p.m.)
No. 2 Hillsboro vs. No. 7 Circleville (5 p.m.)
No. 3 Unioto vs. No. 6 Logan Elm (5 p.m.)
