Lady Tiger soccer season ended

The 2012 McClain Lady Tigers' soccer season came to an end on Monday night in an 8-1 loss to the Chillicothe Lady Cavaliers in the opening round of the Division II SE District Sectional tournament at CHS.

McClain's lone goal was scored by Megan Mustard in the first half as MHS trailed by a 3-1 score after 40 minutes. In the final 40 minutes, MHS was outscored 5-0.


[[In-content Ad]]The No. 13 seeded Lady Tigers' lone win this season came at home against the Madison-Plains Lady Golden Eagles in a South Central Ohio League match at McClain Field on Aug. 23 in a 2-1 win. MHS played most of the year with no bench players and even at times a lineup of less than 11 players.

The win by No. 4 seed Chillicothe gives them seven wins this season.

Playing her final match for MHS was lone senior Felicity Peabody.
