The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs combined for 31 runs, 30 hits and 24 RBIs as they won in five innings at Manchester, Tuesday, defeating the host Lady Greyhounds, 31-5.

LC also earned a Southern Hills Athletic Conference win en route to their Tuesday victory, putting them at 7-9 overall and 5-3 in the conference.

"Everyone hit," LC head coach Spring Roberts said. "We hit hard, and we took advantage of everything we could (Tuesday).

"Manchester was not an easy team to score this many runs on. The slappers got on, stole and then handed it off to the next set. We played aggressive."
