Morgan Gray also had 13 assists, while MaKayla Creed added nine. Defensively, the Lady Mustangs were led by Brittany Ernst with 17 digs, Tylar Griffith with 13 and Magie with 10.

The JV team also won their match, 2-0.

"Overall, I am very pleased with the way the girls are playing right now," LC head coach Mark Faust said. "We finally have everyone healthy, and everyone is contributing in some way. We had seven different players with at least two kills last night and three different people had at least 10 digs. It was a complete team win.

"Having no seniors, it's been a learning process all season. We played five freshmen during various times of the year, sometimes with four being on the floor at the same time. We have matured as a team, and the results are now starting to show."

The Lady Mustangs have won four of their last five matches and will play at West Union on Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Division III sectional tournament.
