MARIETTA — The Hillsboro Lady Indians ended their season Saturday afternoon at Marietta High School, in a 2-1 loss in the Division I SE District Sectional Finals.

HHS (13-4-1) led 30 minutes into the first half with a goal by Jordan Davis.

That was all the scoring for HHS, as Marietta rallied back with two second-half goals to knock the Lady Indians out of the postseason.

For the past four seasons, HHS and Marietta have played in the postseason, with MHS winning the last three meetings.

The Lady Indians say goodbye to four seniors in Lauren Colliver, Ashley Meyer, Ashleigh Bagshaw and Ashley Sanders.

Colliver started 75 straight games for HHS, not missing a single start in four years at HHS. She will play Division I soccer next fall at Miami University.

HHS finishes the season with a second place South Central Ohio League finish and two sectional wins, defeating Logan, 5-2 last Thursday at Richards Memorial Field and Jackson, 7-1 at RMF.

SCORE BY HALF
