Lady Indians fall at Clinton-Massie

CLARKSVILLE — The South Central Ohio League season didn't get off to a good start for Hillsboro Lady Indians as they fell to defending champion Clinton-Massie 66-33 Saturday afternoon at CMHS.
 
HHS (0-1, 1-1) was led in scoring by Trista Rhodes with 10 points, followed by Kaylynn Bell with eight. Hannah Kibler totaled six.
 
Also scoring for HHS were Madison Snyder, Mariah Burns, Alex Stratton and Britney Bowen each with two points and Taylor Stanforth with one.
 
HHS made 10 field goals and 11 free throws, including 3-pointers from Rhodes and Bell.
 
Leading all scorers was Clinton-Massie's Sydney Brackemyre with 26 points, including two 3-pointers.[[In-content Ad]]
Kasey Uetrecht totaled eight points for CM, followed by six points each from Hannah Smith, Allyson Monnin and Brianna Machado. Erin Fair and Brittany Smith each had four points.
 
Logan Frederick, Miquela Sanoro and Mary Moyer each had two points.
 
CM now stands at 1-0 in the SCOL and 2-0 overall.
 
HHS will play again on Wednesday, Dec. 5 when they travel to Fayetteville in a non-league game.
