Lady Indians dominate East Clinton; 8-0 in SCOL

On Monday at the Hillsboro Elks Golf Course, the Hillsboro Lady Indians moved to 8-0 in South Central Ohio League play as they defeated the East Clinton Lady Astros by 52 strokes at 199-251.

The Lady Indians, who are 18-1 overall, were led by three players who all totaled a 48 each in Haylee Wehrung, Halee Allen and Mallory Mullenix. Also for the Lady Indians, Arden Knauff finished with a 55, followed by Hanna Breeden (57) and Amie Griffith (65).

East Clinton scores were: Ashley Caplinger (57), Madison McConnaughy (63), Jessica Bond (63), Hannah Barnes (68), Courtney Pendleton (70) and Taylor Bohl (82).

The Lady Indians play again on Tuesday as they travel to face the Madison-Plains Lady Golden Eagles in an SCOL match.
