L-C Athletic Boosters to hold annual 300 Club dinner

The Lynchburg-Clay Athletic Boosters has announced its eighth annual 300 Club Dinner will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 5:30 p.m. As in past years, all proceeds will be used to make improvements and additions to the outdoor athletic complex.

Over the last eight years, area businesses and individuals have been very generous in their donations and support of the 300 Club Dinner. However, due to the slow economy, some changes have been made to help those who may want to attend but have not been able to afford to do so in the past. This year, ticket prices have been slashed from $100 to $50 per person, but the meal remains the same (choice of chicken or steak, potato, vegetable, salad and homemade pie baked by Bev McConnaughey).

The top prize is $3,500 with second prize being $1,500. There will be lots of other wonderful prizes given away as well.

This year’s western theme will permit the Boosters to do some new and exciting additional activities during the dinner. There will be a Jail ‘n' Bail, calf roping and more.

Those interested in attending, donating a prize for the event or who want more information can call (937) 402-6210 or email LynchburgClayAthleticBoosters@gmail.com.
