Jerry Lewis recognized at SHAC banquet

Raegan White, president of the Southern Hills Athletic Board of Directors, presented Jerry Lewis, commissioner of the SHAC, with a plaque in appreciation for his 18 years of service as commissioner/assigner for the Southern Hills Athletic Conference at the spring awards banquet.

White also thanked Karen Lewis for support of her husband.

Jerry Lewis started in education in 1967 at Mount Orab School and Western Brown High School until 1979. He finished his teaching and coaching career at Eastern High School in 1995.

Lewis has served as commissioner/assigner for the SHAC from 1997 until July 2015, when he will retire from the position.
