The Hillsboro Indians took to the road Tuesday night and returned with a non-league win as they chiseled out a 45-37 win over the Eastern Brown Warriors.

HHS has won their past two games by using their defense as their main focus. That was true again on Tuesday as they didn't allow more than 12 points in a single quarter.

The Indians (3-1) led 15-12 after the first eight-minute quarter, and following a second quarter where they outscored the host Warriors 12-6, they led after 16 minutes by a 27-18 score.[[In-content Ad]]

In the third, EB outscored HHS 10-6, but in the fourth, the Tribe won the eight-minute battle at 12-9.

Jarrod Hart led the Indians with 13 points, followed by Reese Leibreich and Jordan Captain with 11 points apiece.

Chase Lawson led the Warriors with a game-high 14 points.

HHS will play again on Friday, Dec. 14 when they travel to face Highland County and South Central Ohio League rival McClain at MHS. HHS has won the past 10 meetings over the Tigers.
