Indians tennis falls to Blue Lions

WASHINGTON C.H. — The Hillsboro Indians fell to the Washington Blue Lions 4-1 on Thursday in Washington C.H. in South Central Ohio League play.

The lone HHS win came with a 6-0, 6-2 by Reese Leibreich over Drake Berlin of Washington in first singles.


[[In-content Ad]]Alex Rhoads (HHS) fell 1-6, 0-6 in two sets to Washington's Garrett Phipps in second singles, and in third singles, Patrick Shanahan (HHS) fell to Zach Johnson 0-6, 1-6.

Christian Gunderman and Ryan Palmer (HHS) lost in two sets to Washington's Derele Edestein and Adam Cook 0-6, 2-6 in first doubles, and in second doubles, Michael Gunderman and Brendan Eltzroth lost in second doubles by scores of 2-6, 0-6 to Carson Ferguson and Austin Robinson.
