Indian tennis falls to Falcons

HILLSBORO — The Hillsboro boys tennis team dropped their South Central Ohio League match Tuesday, falling to the Clinton-Massie Falcons, 1-4 at HHS.

The lone win for the Indians came in first singles, as Reese Leibreich won in straight sets by scores of 6-0, 6-0 against Sam Leach.

The remainder of the match was won by the Falcons.

In second singles, Alex Rhoads fell to Sam Gaillot 6-3, 2-6, 2-6, and in third singles, Patrick Shanahan fell in two sets to Joe Leach 2-6, 3-6.

In first doubles, Christian Gunderman and Ryan Palmer fell to Nick Ratliff and Connor Wilson 2-6, 2-6.

In second doubles, Michael Gunderman and Brendan Eltzroth fell to Matt Ramke and Reese Brown 5-7, 0-6.

The Indians will play again on Wednesday as they travel to Blanchester.[[In-content Ad]]
