Highland County Press Tipoff Contest

     The Highland County Press, along with sponsor Star Cinemas in Hillsboro, is proud to bring you a new Highland County high school basketball contest, named The Highland County Tipoff.

     The contest will involve predicting the winners of all five Highland County boys basketball games for the next 12 weeks. Teams in Highland County include: the Hillsboro Indians, McClain Tigers, Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs, Fairfield Lions and Whiteoak Wildcats.

    To take part in The Highland County Tipoff contest, you must register at www.highlandcountypress.com, free of charge. The contest, which is sponsored by Star Cinemas, will be a separate section on the website, titled Highland County Tipoff.

     Game results will be posted the night of the games, and player results will be posted weekly.

     This week's games will include Friday, Dec. 4-Saturday, Dec. 5. The contest will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 6 a.m. Deadline for picking games this week will be Thursday, Dec. 3. at 11:59 p.m.

     Each week’s winner will receive two free movie passes from Star Cinemas.

     If there happens to be a tie, one name will be drawn for the movie passes for the winner of The Highland County Tipoff.

     Highland County Press employees and their immediate family members are not eligible.
