SABINA — The Hillsboro Indians dropped a non-league tennis match Monday, falling to the East Clinton Astros, 4-1 at ECHS.
The lone HHS win came from HHS junior Reese Leibreich as he defeated Cody Williams 6-0, 6-0 in first singles.
In second singles, Christian Gunderman (HHS) fell 0-6, 2-6 to Grant Joy of EC. In third singles, Ryan Palmer (HHS) lost in two sets to Wes Henson 3-6, 1-6.

The first doubles team of Alex Rhoads and Patrick Shanahan (HHS) fell in three sets to Mitch Manato and Garret Knisley by scores of 6-4, 1-6, 3-6.
In second doubles, Michael Gunderman and Zach Basford (HHS) lost in two sets to Dylan Sanprot and Gunnar Goodman 1-6, 5-7.
HHS will play again on Wednesday, as they travel to Mt. Orab to face the Western Brown Broncos in non-league play.
