Golden Eagles fly past Indians 70-68

     MT. STERLING - The Hillsboro Indians dropped their South Central Ohio League game Friday night as they fell to the Madison-Plains Golden Eagles 70-68 at MPHS.
     HHS junior Aric Carroll led all scorers with 27 points. The junior made six 3-pointers. Hillsboro senior Airic Steagall finished with 15 points, making three 3-point shots. Fellow senior Emanuel Turner scored nine points for the Tribe.
     Dawson Barreras, a senior, finished with eight points. Colt Coates ended the game at MP with nine points. Turner and Coates each made one 3-pointer.
     Matt McCollister led the Golden Eagles with 24 points. Dugger and Warner each scored 14 for MP. Powers had nine points.
      The Indians will be back in action Tuesday as they host the Washington Blue Lions.
