The Frontier League of Professional Baseball has added a new team this year. The league’s new team will be a traveling team, playing under the name of the Frontier Greys.

The term “traveling” means the Greys will play all 96 of their games on the road, due to not having a home facility, the Greys have been conducting spring training workouts at Chillicothe’s V. A. Memorial Stadium.

On Wednesday, May 8, the Greys will travel to Florence, Ky. to face Frontier League member, the Florence Freedom, in an exhibition game. On Sunday, May 12, the Freedom will travel to Chillicothe to take on the Greys in an exhibition game, starting at 6:05 p.m. with the gates opening at 5:05 p.m.

Fans will be able to keep foul balls into the seating areas and to obtain autographs after the game.

Admission is $5 and proceeds benefit the Chillicothe Paints Baseball Club.
