Fairfield to hold pep rally

The Fairfield Lions would like to invite everyone to a Winter Pep Rally Day on Saturday, Nov. 17 in the Fairfield Auditeria and Gymnasium.
The activities will kick-off at 5 p.m. with a chili supper served by the Fairfield Boosters Club. Menu includes chili, hot dog or chicken sandwich, bread, butter, peanut butter, assorted desserts and lemonade, tea or coffee for $5 per person.
While you eat in the auditeria, take some time to look over the creative baskets prepared by the various coaches and athletes in the Fairfield Athletic Department and place a silent auction bid. All bids will end at 7:30 p.m. when a live auction will be conducted on many of the baskets.
At 8 p.m., everyone is invited into the gymnasium, where the auction will continue with the four top baskets as the winter athletes are introduced. This will include all seventh-12th grade basketball players, cheerleaders, pep band and pep club. The evening will end with a few rousing cheers from Fairfield cheerleaders and some entertaining numbers from the pep band.
Everyone is invited to attend and help Fairfield kick off a winning season. As Lucky the Lion says, “Come on out and help us get our season off to a ROARING start!!!”
