Collivers win state soccer championships

Recently, Lauren Colliver, a junior at Hillsboro High School helped her U17 Ohio Elite ECNL Academy soccer team capture its second Ohio South state cup championship.
Ohio Elite Soccer Academy is a competitive soccer club based in West Chester, Ohio and attracts players for the greater tri-state region.
Colliver has played multiple positions for her team but currently plays center back. Colliver has been a member of the team since its inception in 2003. The HHS junior is one of only four players who were original to this team.
Madison Colliver, an eighth grader at Hillsboro Middle School plays for the U14 Ohio Elite Academy soccer team, which captured its first state cup title this past weekend. Madison was sidelined with an ACL injury. Madison has been a member of Ohio Elite since 2005.
Both girls' teams are now qualified for the Region Two Regional Tournament that will be held in Dayton, in June.
There are four regions of USYSA soccer in the United States. Each regional winner will advance for a chance to play for a national championship in Kansas City this summer.
Region Two consists of state champions from Michigan, Ohio North, Ohio South, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska along with the winners of the spring and fall MRL League.
