Hillsboro High School senior soccer player Lauren Colliver has officially signed her National Letter of Intent to play women's soccer at Miami University in Oxford this fall.
Miami University is a Division I school.
Colliver earned four letters at Hillsboro. She never missed a game in her career, making 75 straight starts, while setting the school's career records for goals, assists and points.
Colliver led the Lady Indians to a 59-10-6 record during her four years, including South Central Ohio League and Southeast Ohio District championships. She was named All-SCOL all four years, all-district three times and All-Ohio in 2008. Colliver also played for the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy, winning the Ohio South State Cup championships twice, including last year.
"Lauren is a steady, reliable defender. She is very poised and has an excellent tactical understanding of the game along with the organizational skills required of all good center backs," Miami University women's soccer coach Bobby Kramig said. "She's the type of player who makes the players around her better. We have always liked her and her performance at our August prospect camp sealed the deal for us."[[In-content Ad]]
