CLASS to offer hunter safety course, Nov. 13-15

Cowan Lake Association of Sportsmen will host a three-night hunter safety course at their clubhouse, 331 Beechwood Rd. (off Rte. 350), Wilmington. The three weekday nights will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 13, 14 and 15. Tuesday and Wednesday hours are 5-8 p.m. Thursday hours are 5-9 p.m.
Completion of hunter safety course is required for all first-time hunting license buyers in Ohio. The instructors are trained by the Ohio Division of Wildlife.

The course is free and open to the public. To register, participants must call 1-800-WILDLIFE during office hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The hunter safety course will be completed in 10 hours. Participants must attend all three nights.
Directions to the Cowan Lake Association of Sportsmen clubhouse are as follows: From Wilmington, take route 68 south for about five-six miles. Take Route 350 west for about one mile. Turn right onto Beechwood Road. The clubhouse is on the left at 331 Beechwood Road.
