The annual Cincinnati Reds Caravan stopped in Chillicothe at the WBEX 1490 AM radio station for one of their media stops on their four-day route.

In Chillicothe this year were Reds manager Bryan Price, catcher Devin Mesoraco, minor league shortstop Alex Blandino, broadcasters Jim Day and Jeff Piecoro and director of player development Jeff Graupe.

Piecoro, a Fox Sports Ohio broadcaster, told The Highland County Press and other media outlets he enjoyed these type of meet and greets with Reds fans.

"It's neat to go all over Reds country," he said. "The Reds have to go on a regional basis. The Reds can't rely, like the Dodgers can, like it's just this little area. It's important to get all the outlying areas – West Virginia, Indiana, into Kentucky – as well as the fan base here in Ohio.

"It's a lot of fun to go out and get to meet all these people and go to all the different radio stations that are part of the network. To me, it's a great time because it means baseball is right around the corner."

Check back on Friday for more on the event and articles previewing the 2015 Cincinnati Reds season.
